What is a preposition?Preposition definition: is a word that links to a noun, a pronoun or a phrase in a sentence. Prepositions are always come before nouns or noun phrases. Learning prepositions can be complicated for English learners because there are no certain rules. It also happens to English teachers in teaching prepositions.
The only way to learn preposition usage is by practicing gradually. You have to train applying prepositions many times so you will finally have a deep feeling to know better when you should use them in appropriate conditions.
